Drenia Islands (Gaidouronisia)

The Drenia Islands, or Gaidouronisia (translated as Donkey Islands), are a cluster of 6 small islands. Their name comes from the largest island of the complex, while the smaller ones are called Tigani, Feta, Pena, Frini and Gaidouronisi. These are uninhabited rocky islands that have beautiful sandy beaches, fantastic blue waters and an exotic landscape to show off. These islets are one of the few untouched and unspoilt places that one can find in Greece.

Ammouliani (Chora, the village)

Ammouliani is an island in the gulf of Mount Athos, opposite Tripiti. It is the only inhabited island in Halkidiki. You can visit its picturesque port and enjoy fresh fish, delicious sweet waffles and anything else that takes your appetite in this small village. There are plenty of shops where you can buy your favorite souvenir.

Ouranoupolis

Ouranoupoli is the main gateway to Mount Athos. It is located on the northwestern side of the Athos peninsula of Halkidiki and is the last inhabited settlement before Agion Oros, the holy area with monasteries. The village has a beautiful, organized sandy beach, which is just one of the many beaches with golden sand in the area. Many shops, like souvenirs and other necessary and desirable market products are also available. Reastaurants, taverns and bars are located on the main street.
